
Ron Jaworski to be Honorary Captain at Tonight's Blizzard Game

The Green Bay Blizzard is pleased to announce that Philadelphia Soul owner and former NFL quarterback Ron Jaworski will be the honorary captain at tonight's conference semi-final playoff game.
Jaworski is a former teammate of Blizzard Head Coach Bob Landsee with the Philadelphia Eagles. The two played together during Landsee's rookie season with the Eagles in 1986-87.
Jaworski is in Green Bay an as analyst for ESPN's Monday Night Football Game, when the Green Bay Packers take on the Cincinnati Bengals in a preseason game. Jaworski will join the Green Bay Blizzard for tonight's game with a vested interest in the sport of Arena Football. Jaworski is an owner and team President of the 2008 Arena Bowl Champion Philadelphia Soul. The Soul defeated the San Jose Saber Cats 59-56 in Arena Bowl XXII.
