
Rome Makes More Roster Moves

Rome, GA - The Rome Braves announce that infielder Larry Williams is being sent to Myrtle Beach of the Carolina League. Williams was hitting .270 for Rome this season with two home runs and 33 RBI. In turn, Rome receives Ernesto Mejia from the Appalachian League's Danville Braves. Mejia, who was with Rome earlier in the season, was hitting .339 with five home runs and 24 RBI at Danville.
Rome concludes their series with Augusta tonight before heading to Kannapolis for a four game series. The Braves return home on Monday July 30th to take on the Lexington Legends.
