Rolaids Relief Man League Winners

The Minnesota Twins had three of their relievers win the Rolaids Man in Relief in their respective leagues. The Rolaids Relief Man scoring system awards players three points for each save, two points for each win and takes away two points for each loss they record during the season. Leading the way for the Minnesota Twins organization was Bobby Korecky of the New Britain Rock Cats. In the Eastern League (AA) Korecky was 3-4 with 31 saves for a total of 91 points. In the Appalachian League (R+) Frank Matta of the Elizabethton Twins accumulated 41 points with his 2-1 record and 13 saves. Jose Mijares totaled 23 points, 4-0 with 5 saves for the Golf Coast League Twins. The Twins led all Major League teams with three Winners.

As an organization the Twins Minor League clubs compiled a 341-338 record during the 2004 season, a .502 winning percentage. This ranked the Twins 15 overall out of the 30 Major League teams.
