Medford Rogues News Release
MEDFORD, OR -The West Coast League today announced the final 2013 All-Star Game roster following injury replacements and two more Medford Rogues were added to the WCL South squad. Rogues SS Ray McIntire (Nevada-Reno) and 3B/RHP Jerad Casper (Oregon State) were added to the team while LHP Justin Jacome (UC Santa Barbara), voted to the game earlier this week, will sit out the contest with elbow inflammation.
Ray McIntire: McIntire, a junior from Winters, CA, has played in 19 games for the Rogues and is hitting .245 with six RBI and two stolen bases. He has displayed spectacular defense and veteran leadership throughout the season.
Jerad Casper: Casper, also a junior, joined the Rogues late after being with Oregon State as the Beavers made their World Series run in June. Since arriving in Medford the Covington, WA native is hitting .262 with six RBI and is tied for second on the team with two home runs. He has also made a name for himself as a valuable relief pitcher, going two innings and striking out four.
