OFFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK
Player Name: Danny McManus #14 - Hamilton Tiger-Cats
Player Position: Quarterback
Game: WPG (39) vs HAM (41)
Highlights:
Completed 20 of 29 passes for 440 yards, three touchdowns and one interception.
Game Notes:
McManus appeared healthy and found a groove. His decision making and his ability to go downfield were very impressive. He showed exceptional ability to drop passes over coverage into areas where only his receivers could make plays. The whole team appeared to feed off his strong inner drive, leading them towards their first victory of the season.

DEFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK
Player Name: Thomas Stancil #13 - Saskatchewan Roughriders
Player Position: Defensive Back

Highlights:
Stancil recorded seven tackles, one quarterback sack, one interception and a pass knockdown.
Game Notes:
Stancil was a playmaker with excellent quickness and a non-stop motor. He was a critical factor in holding the Lions' high-octane offence to just 19 points. He showed great ability in avoiding blocks and making plays in the open field.

Player Name: Tyrone Williams #96 - BC Lions

Highlights:
Williams record three tackles and one quarterback sack in the Lions' ninth straight victory of the season.
Game Notes:
On a night when both defensive units were dominant Williams was outstanding. His constant efforts disrupted the backfield of the âRiders. The defence was pivotal, holding the Lions in the game long enough for the BC offence to score in the fourth quarter and pull out with a victory.

SPECIAL TEAMS PLAYER OF THE WEEK
Player Name: Bashir Levingston #23 - Toronto Argonauts
Player Position: Kick Returner
Game: CGY (16) vs TOR (25)
Highlights:
Levingston returned five punts for 151 yards, including a 109-yard return for a touchdown. He also returned two missed field goals for 142 yards, including a 111-yard return for the major, helping the Argos defeat the Stampeders. He also returned two kickoffs for 52 yards, giving him a grand total of 345 return yards and two scores.
