Rockford Wraps Up Four Game Week At Home Today

Rockford, Ill.- With the deck stacked against them against the American Hockey League's top team, the Rockford IceHogs came away with a win that could get the club back on the winning track. We won't have to wait long to see if the effects of the Hogs 5-1 win over the Providence Bruins carries over as the IceHogs will face off against the Peoria Rivermen at 4:05 p.m. at the Rockford MetroCentre today.

Playing with just 16 skaters last night due to a pair of NHL recalls moments before the game, the IceHogs picked up arguably their best win of the season.

From here on out, the IceHogs will skate against West Division foes and the final 18 game stretch begins this afternoon against Peoria. Rockford is 3-1-1-0 against the Rivermen with three games remaining on the regular season series, all at the MetroCentre.

Next Home Game: Wednesday, March 5 vs. Peoria Rivermen. Game time is slated for 7:05 p.m. For the second straight game Rockford and Peoria meet at the Rockford MetroCentre. The game is the seventh of eight on the regular season. Wednesday's contest is presented by Crown Royal.
