Game Notes: Tonight, the Rochester Americans host the West Division's Iowa Stars at The Blue Cross Arena. The 6:05 p.m. contest will be broadcast live on Hot Talk 1280 WHTK, whtk.com and B2 networks. The game will also be televised tape delayed on Time Warner SportsNet Channel 26. Head Coach Randy Cunneyworth's quest for win number 300 continues as he looks to become only the second Amerks coach to reach that milestone.

Promotions: The game falls on the next installment of the Amerks' Supercuts $6.00 Sundays. Kids 12 and under can purchase a $6.00 Sunday ticket in the 100 and 200 end seating areas. The game also falls on AAA night. Anyone who is a AAA member can show their membership card to The Blue Cross Arena Box Office and receive 100 End Seating for $10.00 each (Regular $16.00) or 200 End Seating for $10.00 each (Regular $12.00). Lastly, fans are also invited to head down to The Distillery at 3010 Winton Rd. South to enjoy the official postgame party. Fans can show their guest checks from The Distillery at the BCA Box Office for a $3.00 discount off any 100 or 200 premium Amerks ticket (Regular price $21.00).

Head-to-Head: Tonight's contest marks the second of two scheduled meetings between the two teams this season. Rochester dropped a 4-2 decision to the Stars in the previous meeting between the teams back on January 21st. The Amerks are 4-1-0 all-time against the Dallas Stars' affiliate.

Amerks Notes: Rochester (17-36-4-4, 42 points) enters the contest after dropping its third straight game, falling 3-1 to the Syracuse Crunch last night at the War Memorial at Oncenter. Defenseman Martin Lojek scored the Amerks' lone goal to record his fourth tally of the season. Mark Mancari remains Rochester's top point-getter with 41 points (15+26), while Stefan Meyer and Marek Zagrapan share the team lead with 16 goals. First-year man Marc-Andre Gragnani notched an assist on Lojek's goal last night to extend his current point streak to nine games (3+7). His 36 points (7+29) currently ranks him second on the team and seventh among all league rookies. His 29 assists are also a team best. Goaltender Adam Dennis ranks 10th among all league netminders with three shutouts.

Iowa Notes: The Stars (28-29-3-2) are 5-4-1-0 in their last 10 games and have 61 points, placing them at the bottom of the West Division. Centerman Toby Petersen leads the Stars in all offensive categories with 20 goals, 30 assists and 50 points. Tobias Stephan is among the top goalies in the league. His 2.54 goals-against average and 21 wins presently rank him 18th and ninth in the league, respectively. More impressively, Stephan ranks first in the league with six shutouts on the year.

Next Game: Rochester kicks off a five-game road trip on Friday, March 7th as it takes on the San Antonio Rampage at the AT&T Centre. The 8:00 p.m. EST matchup will be the second of two meetings this season and will be broadcast live on Hot Talk 1280 WHTK, whtk.com and B2 networks.
