Rockford IceHogs raise $56,825

Rockford, Ill.-The Rockford IceHogs hosted its 7th Annual Jersey Auction for charity on Friday night following its game agaisnt the Quad City Mallards. IceHogs fans helped the Hogs raise $56,825.

All proceeds from this year's auction will go the IceHogs Charitable Foundation. The IceHogs Charitable Foundation will in return, distribute the proceeds to several not-for-profit orgnaizations in the Rock River Valley including, but not limited to, MDA Boy Scouts, Girl Scouts, Rockford area Boys and Girls Club, Big Brothers and Big Sisters, Northern Illinois Hospice, Jr. IceHogs and the Veterans Memorial.

Next Home Game: Sunday, April 9 vs. Muskegon Fury. Game time is 3:05 p.m. The IceHogs and Fury clash at the MetroCentre in the back end of a home-and-home series The first 500 kids to the game will receive an IceHogs puck courtesy of the Insurance King. Also, don't forget your skates as Sunday is another "Skate With The Hogs" following the game.
