Rockers Look to Rebound against Madison

Ashwaubenon, Wis. - The Green Bay Rockers travel to Madison for the first time this season, trying to get back in the win column after dropping their last six games.

Green Bay comes into this matchup with the Mallards at 1-6 while Madison enters a game above the .500 mark at 4-3.

In Sunday afternoon's game against Madison, the Rockers managed to only score once on five hits in an 11-1 loss.

The Mallards scored in seven of the nine innings played, and Josh Caron and Marcus Brodil hit two booming home runs. Caron's came in the third, and Brodil's came in the ninth.

Monday night, the Rockers will start Dylan Carter from Arkansas for the second time this season.

Carter's first start came May 31 against Wisconsin Rapids. He got the loss and pitched four innings and allowed two hits, one earned run and four walks, while striking out eight.

Beau Nichols from Lincoln Memorial University toes the rubber for the Mallards for the second time in 2022.

In his last start on May 31 against Lakeshore, he got the no decision. Nichols threw six innings and allowed four hits, one earned run and two walks. He struck out six.

Monday's first pitch is set for 6:08 p.m. at Warner Park. 95.5 and 1400 The Fan will be providing live radio play-by-play of the action.
