TORONTO-The Toronto Rock open the 2005-06 regular season on Rogers Sportsnet when they host the Arizona Sting Saturday, January 7th at 7:00 p.m. (ET)/4:00 p.m. (PT).
Roger Millions will call the play-by-play for the home opener, while Brian Shanahan handles the analysis.
This game against the Sting will be a rematch of the Champions Cup game held last May, when The Rock won their 5th Champions Cup with a 19-13 victory. The championship banner will be unveiled at the home opener. .
The Toronto team will try and improve last year's franchise best record of 12-3.
The season opener is the first of 10 games available nationally for viewers who subscribe to Rogers Sportsnet Ontario or Rogers Sportsnet East:
