Sting Announce 2006 Roster
December 14, 2005 - National Lacrosse League (NLL)
Arizona Sting News Release
GLENDALE, ARIZONA --- Arizona Sting General Manager and Head Coach Bob Hamley announced Wednesday his team's 23-man roster for the upcoming NLL season.
"We are very excited about our roster for 2006," said Hamley. "The pool of talent in last year's draft was very deep, as proven by Matt Brown, Mike McLellan, Andrew Lazore, and Andy Secore, all '05 picks, making our final roster. Adding these young guys as well as some key veteran off-season acquisitions to our core group from 2005 puts us in a good position to be competitive in a tough West Division this season."
In total, 14 players are returning to the Sting, while 9 new faces will be joining the 2005 West Division Champions, including veterans Jason Crosbie, Andrew Guindon, and Bruce Murray as well as former NLL Goalie of the Year Rob Blasdell.
