Rochester RazorSharks News Release
Rochester, NY. Dr. Sev Hrywnak, owner of the ABA Rochester professional basketball team scheduled to begin play in 2005 today announced that the team had officially changed its name to the RazorSharks. Hrywnak stated, "We wanted a name that would make a powerful statement say that we will be strong, fast, fierce and fan friendly - so we decided to go with the name Rochester RazorSharks. When someone says they are a RazorShark fan, everyone in Rochester will know who they are talking about. And we have some exciting promotional plans coming too."
