
Brooklyn expands ownership group

Brooklyn, NY. Marsha Blount and Sherman Givens, co-owners of the ABA Brooklyn, New York professional basketball team scheduled to begin play in 2005 today announced the addition of Otis Stroble to the ownership group. According to Ms. Blount, "We're very happy and excited to have Mr. Stroble join us in this endeavor. With his work in the community with childrens' entertainment and basketball camps that he has been a part of, it will further build on the mission of the team and what we'll bring to the community."
Mr. Stroble was born and raised in Brooklyn and played basketball at both the high school and college levels. He was the Assistant Coach of the Brooklyn Blaze pro basketball team and is one of the Directors of the Palm Tree Center for Nursing and Rehabilitation.
