
Roanoke Rail Yard Dawgs Introduce Team Vice President

ROANOKE, VIRGINIA - The search is over for the Vice President of the Rail Yard Dawgs hockey club. Mickey Gray, currently serving as Assistant General Manager of the Peoria Rivermen, will join the Dawgs the first week of March, 2016.
Before accepting the position of Vice President -Business and Hockey Operations of the Rail Yard Dawgs, Gray spent the last three years with the Peoria Rivermen, who are also in the Southern Professional Hockey League (SPHL). At 30 years old, Gray is regarded around the league as "one of the next great executives in minor pro hockey."
A graduate of Lincoln College with a degree in Business Administration, Gray, a Chicago native, focused his skills with the Rivermen on Corporate Sales. Prior to joining the club, he was Director of Game Operations for the Bloomington Blaze, Central Illinois Drive, and Bloomington Edge. Gray, his wife Allison, and their two dogs Sydney and Duncan, look forward to becoming a part of the Roanoke Valley landscape while directing the Roanoke Rail Yard Dawgs.

"We need someone with minor pro hockey front office experience who sees our vision for the Rail Yard Dawgs. We cannot afford to miss the mark. Trust me when I say that Mickey is exactly what we are looking for! His ideas, suggestions, and proven leadership skills that he has already displayed to us are off the charts."
