
Roadrunners To Appear At Palm Valley Branch Library

EDINBURG, TEXAS ---- The Edinburg Roadrunners of United League Baseball (ULB) announce today that they, along with the help of Rowdy the Roadrunner, will be on hand Wednesday August 5th at the Palm View Branch Library from 11:00-12:00 for story time with the kids.
The Palm View Branch Library is located at 3401 Jordan Avenue in McAllen, and the players along with Rowdy will be on hand to read to the kids, talk to them about the importance of reading, along with some baseball, sign autographs and hand out tickets for the Reading Club Day at Edinburg Baseball Stadium which is scheduled for Sunday August 9th.
The Roadrunners begin the first part of an eight game home stand facing Amarillo tonight at Edinburg Baseball Stadium in the first of four games against the Dillas. Game time is set for 7:05 p.m.
