
Roadrunners Sign Hancock to One-Year AHL Contract

TUCSON, ARIZONA - The Tucson Roadrunners, proud American Hockey League affiliate of the Arizona Coyotes, announced today that the club has signed forward Kevin Hancock to a one-year AHL contract.
The 21-year-old Hancock recorded a career-high 52 goals and 55 assists, totaling 107 points in 70 combined games with the Owen Sound Attack and London Knights of the Ontario Hockey League (OHL) during the 2018-19 season. The 5-foot-11, 181-pound native of Mississauga, Ontario totaled 291 points over the course of 266 games at the major junior level, earning OHL Second All-Star Team honors last year.
"Kevin excelled tremendously in terms of offensive output over the course of four years in the OHL," said Roadrunners General Manager Steve Sullivan. "We're eager to have him and look forward to seeing his work in the professional ranks."
The Roadrunners will open their fourth season of play in Southern Arizona on Friday, October 18 when the team hosts the San Antonio Rampage, AHL affiliate of the Stanley Cup Champion St. Louis Blues at Tucson Arena. Puck drop is set for 7:05 p.m. and ticket packages including the opening night are on sale now.
