Edinburg Roadrunners News Release
FORT WORTH, Texas - The Edinburg Roadrunners fell to the Fort Worth Cats by a score of 2-1 in eleven innings at La Grave Field on Wednesday night.
After being scoreless for the first three innings, the Roadrunners (33-32) got the scoring started in the fourth inning when Travis Clark singled to start the rally, then advanced to the second on a sacrifice by Trevor Whyte. Clark stole third base and scored on an error by the catcher which gave Edinburg the 1-0 lead.
The Cats (39-26) were held scoreless until the ninth inning when Josh Band reached on a walk and moved over to second base on a sacrifice hit by Cameron Monger.
