Road Warriors Continue to Make Free Agency Splash with More AHL Experience

Greenville, SC: Today the Greenville Road Warriors, proud ECHL affiliate of the New York Rangers, announced the signing of defenseman Dallas Jackson and forwards Pat Mullane. In addition, the Road Warriors have signed forward Paul Rodrigues.

"Dallas has the tools to be a shut down defenseman and can play with the top power play unit. He is a guy who will log a lot of minutes and I am excited to have this type of defenseman join the team," Coach Dean Stork said. "Pat has very good habits and strong attention to detail. This is what has made him a smart and talented player. We feel these players can help us work toward our goal of bringing a championship to the city of Greenville."

Jackson, 25, spent all of last season in the AHL with the Bridgeport Sound Tigers and the Springfield Falcons. The majority of his time was in Bridgeport where he skated in 53 games scoring 24 points (3G, 21A). The Edson, Alberta native has played in 132 career ECHL games, mostly with the Gwinnett Gladiators. Jackson's most recent stint with the Galdiators was in 2012-13 where he tallied 15 points (7G, 8A) in just 31 games.

"Greenville is a team that is always competitive and I look forward to being a contributor to continuing that success," Jackson commented. "The fans, community, atmosphere and coaching staff all played a large factors in my decision to play for the Road Warriors this upcoming season."

Mullane collected 13 points (6G, 7A) in 46 games last season with the Rockford IceHogs. He briefly made an appearance with the Toledo Walleye dressing in just 13 games and registering four points (2G, 2A). The 24-year-old is a product of Boston College where he won a Frozen Four Championship and finished third on the team in scoring in his senior year with 43 points in 38 games. Mullane is from Wallingford, Connecticut.

"I am very excited to join the Road Warriors organization and be a part of the New York Rangers system," Mullane added. "I know they have had continued success on the ice and graduating players to the AHL and I look forward to being a part of continuing that success."

Rodrigues, 25, split last season between the Pensacola Ice Flyers and the South Carolina Stingrays. The majority of his time was with the Stingrays where he totaled 15 points (7G, 8A) in 40 games. The SUNY-Oswego product boasted 26 points (5G, 21A) in just 20 games with the Ice Flyers. In 2012-13, Rodrigues led SUNY-Oswego in points with 46. The forward was born in Etobicoke, Ontario.

The current Road Warriors roster consists of 21 players:
