Road is no friend of the Fury

Knoxville TN: With three games down on the current road trip and still no victories the Tennessee Fury will look to put one in the win column on Tuesday night at 7 p.m. against the Grand Rapids Blizzard.

The Fury has lost four games in a row and has dropped into last place in the league. Grand Rapids also comes into this game looking for a win. The Blizzard started off the season like the Fury is on a current four game losing streak. Something will have to give. The game can be heard on www.sportsradionet.com.

The Fury has been getting great contributions from WNBA stars Becky Hammon and Marie Ferdinand. Hammon is third in the league in scoring with19.4 points per game and second in assists with 6.2 per contest.

Ferdinand, who got off to somewhat of a slow start, has turned it on as of late. She is second on the team in scoring with 15.8 points per game.

After Tuesdays game with the Blizzard the Fury will then head back to Springfield to play the Spirit, a team that has beaten them in all three meetings this season.

The Fury's next home game will be on March 16th against the Birmingham Power. Tennessee and Birmingham has split its two meetings this season with the Fury winning the last meeting, 92-86.
