
Riversharks Ink Big Leaguer Castillo

CAMDEN, NJ- The Camden Riversharks continue to restock their roster moving toward the second half. The team announced the signing of former Major League catcher Alberto Castillo Wednesday.
Castillo, 37, has 12 seasons of big league service time with the New York Mets, St. Louis Cardinals, Toronto Blue Jays, New York Yankees, San Francisco Giants, Kansas City Royals, Oakland A's and Baltimore Orioles.
Last season, he split time between the Orioles' big league and Triple-A clubs for a total of 75 games behind the plate.
Castillo is the third catcher on the Riversharks roster heading into the second half, alongside Randy McGarvey and Cody Collet.
