
RiverRats Sign Former University of Pittsburgh Defensive Lineman

Pittsburgh RiverRats Head Coach Shawn Liotta announced today that the team has signed former University of Pittsburgh Defensive Lineman Ron Idoko.
"We are very happy to have Ron on board with us this season. He has a great motor and work ethic that will have him chasing down opposing quarterbacks all season," commented Coach Liotta.
Idoko a 6'3 300 pound defensive lineman played at the University of Pittsburgh from 2002-2005 where he began his career as a walk-on and earned a full-athletic scholarship from Coach Dave Wannstedt in 2005.
Idoko made solid contributions for Pitt on the defensive line throughout his career .A native of the Bronx, NY, Idoko will be in the lineup for the RiverRats this week when they face the Reading Express on Sunday February 18, 2007 at 5:20pm at the Ice Garden.
