
RiverRats Sign 2006 AIFL Pro-Star Sly Brumfield

The Pittsburgh RiverRats of the American Indoor Football Association (AIFA) have announced that the team has signed 2006 AIFL Pro-Star Kick-Returner Sly Brumfield to the active roster. Brumfield will immediately bolster the RiverRats offense at the Wide Receiver position this week vs. the Reading Express.
Brumfield (5'8, 170) has two years of experience playing for the Canton Legends in 2005 and the Steubenville Stampede in 2006 where he earned all-league honors. Brumfield was the 4th overall pick in the 2005 AIFL Draft. Brumfield was a pre-season All-American at Phoenix Junior College in Arizona.
RiverRats Head Coach Shawn Liotta announced that the team has signed the following players to contracts:
T.J. Carden - LB - 6'2 240 California, PA
Dan Woodard - LB - 6'2 225 Rutgers/Slippery Rock
