 Erie Explosion News Release
The Pittsburgh RiverRats are pleased to announce that we will kickoff our inaugural season in the American Indoor Football Association with an open house on January 21st at 2:00 PM at the Ice Garden Arena on Rt. 51 in Belle Vernon.
The RiverRats would like to invite football fans of all ages to come out to the Ice Garden and meet our Coach Shawn Liotta as well as members of the RiverRats football team and front office staff.
Coach Liotta and the players and will be available to answer questions, take pictures and sign autographs throughout the session. There is no charge for admission too the event and refreshments will be provided. This is a great opportunity for the community to meet the new Professional Football Team in town and a chance to learn about a fast, high-scoring, hard-hitting brand of football played indoors.
The RiverRats would also like to invite all business owners in the Mon Valley Area and extent an offer to become partners with team through sponsorship. Representatives will be on hand to discuss sponsorship packages and benefits to any business owner who is interested, and we will also have information on season tickets and individual game too.
The "HELP WANTED" sign will also be out. The RiverRats are now accepting applications for interns and volunteer positions for game day production, sales and marketing (paid on commission), and entertainment. Staff members will be on hand at the open house to accept applications (please bring a resume) and discuss all open positions with the team. This is a golden opportunity to gain valuable experience working for a Professional Football Team right in your own backyard.
The RiverRats are looking forward to a great first season and our friends and neighbors in the Mon Valley can help make that happen. Be a part of the action. Be a part of the Pittsburgh RiverRats.
