
Rivermen Changing Colors Saturday for Blackhawks Night

PEORIA - The Peoria Rivermen have finalized plans for this Saturday's Chicago Blackhawks Night at Carver Arena and have announced plans for the final home game of the regular season.
The Southern Professional Hockey League-leading Rivermen will change colors for Saturday night's 7:05 game against the Fayetteville FireAntz while wearing special Blackhawks-themed jerseys combining the Rivermen logo with the familiar red, black and white Chicago hockey colors. The jerseys will be auctioned immediately after Saturday's game.
Blackhawks great Bobby Hull will meet Rivermen fans before and during Saturday's game. The two-time Hart Memorial Trophy winner as the National Hockey League's most valuable player will sign autographs for an hour before the 7:05 p.m. face-off, then again during both intermissions and the second period. To accommodate as many fans as possible, the Rivermen ask that no posed photographs be taken and that fans receive one autograph per person without personalization.
Saturday's Chicago Blackhawks Night will also feature dozens of prizes, including:

Many more items will be given away during the night. A drawing will be held at the merchandise table for a large customized signed and framed jersey from Duncan Keith, a Northland hockey stick signed by Bobby Hull and a Rivermen special Blackhawks jersey signed by Hull.
Blackhawks mascot Tommy Hawk will also appear, and the night will feature hot dogs and select draft beers for only $2 each.
The Rivermen also have announced the final regular season home game on Saturday, March 7 will be the CEFCU Rivermen Fan Fest. Fans will receive a team photo and meet players and coaches after the game. More details and activities will be announced in coming days.
The first-place Rivermen face the Fayetteville FireAntz at 7:05 p.m. Friday and Saturday and 3:05 p.m. Sunday at Carver Arena. Fans can buy two tickets for only $20 on Coca-Cola Finally Friday. Sunday is PJ Star Family Fun Day with $1 tickets for kids 12 and under, $3 kids meals, a Family Fun Zone before the game and post-game skating with the players. The home regular season concludes with games on Friday, March 6 and Saturday, March 7 against the Mississippi RiverKings.
Single game tickets for Peoria's 33rd season of professional hockey are on sale weekdays at the Peoria Civic Center. Season ticket packages and group ticket options for the 2014-15 campaign are on sale now through the Rivermen office, located at 201 S.W. Jefferson Street, or over the phone at (309) 676-1040.
