
Rivermen Announce Pre-Season Dates Against IceHogs

Peoria Rivermen News Release
The Peoria Rivermen and Rockford IceHogs will give fans their first taste of AHL hockey action for the 2008-09 Season when the clubs face off in a pair of pre-season games in early October.
The regional rivals will tangle twice before the regular season, with the first match coming in Peoria at Carver Arena on Wednesday, October 1 at 7:05 pm. The home-and-home series concludes Saturday, October 4 at 7:05 pm at the Rockford MetroCentre.
This will be your first chance to check out the 2008-09 edition of the team, led by new head coach Davis Payne.
Ticket information for the games will be released as soon as it becomes available. Rivermen full season ticket holders will be admitted to the game free of charge at Carver Arena.
