TOPEKA---The Memphis RiverKings rallied from a 3-1 second period deficit to win their third in-a-row, 4-3 over the Topeka Tarantulas in Topeka Wednesday night. Phil Aucoin finished with a goal and three assists for his second four-point night in his last two games. Don Parsons made it five goals in his last three with a pair to help improve the team's record to 9-11.

Aucoin's goal occurred so fast to start the game that the zamboni driver had yet to demount his rig. Just 12 seconds in, Aucoin scored his seventh of the season with a tip of Jeremy Geotzinger's shot from the point to make it 1-0. That would be it, though, for RiverKings scoring until the midway point of the second. In the process, the Topeka Tarantulas scored three in a row and took a 3-1 lead in the second. That is when Parsons, Aucoin and Defenseman Derek Landmesser went to work.

Parsons and Aucoin teamed up on a nice rush after Topeka hit the pipe on the other end. The Parsons goal at 11:22 made it 3-2 with Landmesser's goal 23 seconds later tying it. Parsons made it a two goal night 58 seconds into the third period with Aucoin and Lanmesser assisting on the game winner. Parsons was on the weak side when the pass came to him, his skates were going one way, his upper body was going the other, but somehow he got his stick on the puck and sent the 'Kings home a winner on this one game trip.

J. F. Racine won his third in a row in the nets with a 33 save night. The RiverKings will try to make it four straight wins when Oklahoma City comes to town on Saturday night. Face-off is at 7:05 followed by a 3:00 game on Sunday afternoon.
