
RiverKings Trade ForDefenseman Chris Leone

SOUTHAVEN, Miss. -- Mississippi RiverKings Head Coach and Director of Hockey Operations Derek Landmesser announced that the team has traded for Pensacola Ice Flyers defenseman Chris Leone for future considerations.
Leone is in his first season in the SPHL after spending part of last season playing in the ECHL with Greenville Swamp Rabbits and playing four years at Adrian College. While at Adrian he amassed 71 points (24G, 47A) over his four year college career. He also won back-to-back Northern Collegiate Hockey Association Harris Cup championships while part of Adrian and was named to the CCM American Hockey Coaches Association All-America First Team as a senior. He was also named to the D3hockey.com All-America Second Team and was the NCHA Championship MVP.
Leone played in three games for the Ice Flyers and posted a +/- rating of +3
