
RiverKings to Unveil New Logo July 7

SOUTHAVEN, Miss. - The Mississippi RiverKings, the longest continually operating sports franchise in the greater Memphis area, have announced today that they will officially unveil their new primary logo at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, July 7.
The unveiling will take place in rooms 6 and 7 at the Landers Center and the event is open to the public, free of charge. The RiverKings will first reveal their new logo and then they will show off the new team jersey designs for the 2015-16 season. Merchandise featuring the new logo will be available at the team store and fans can preorder new team jerseys at the store as well.
Rooms 6 and 7 at the Landers Center are located directly across from the main Box Office inside the Grand Hall area of the west side of the building. Enter through the Nissan Entrance and the rooms will be on the right.
The RiverKings announced their intention to rebrand on January 28 by holding a Jr. Brand Advisor contest, open to students at local schools. On March 16 the RiverKings announced that Becka Matthews, a student at Center Hill High, had won the contest and was named the RiverKings Jr. Brand Advisor. She has provided feedback and ideas to aid in the rebrand process, which began after she was named the winner of the contest.
The Mississippi RiverKings are proud to be the longest, continually operating sports franchise in the Memphis area, as they begin their 24th season in 2015.
