
RiverKings Sign LaBelle

SOUTHAVEN, Miss. -- Mississippi RiverKings Head Coach and Director of Hockey Operations Derek Landmesser announced today that the team has signed forward Lucas LaBelle. Terms and conditions were not released.
LaBelle, 25, signed a three-game tryout contract with the RiverKings on January 4 and tallied one assist. The 5-foot-8, 191-pound Toronto, Ont. native began his hockey career with the Tulsa Oilers (CHL) in 2008 and spent the first half of this season with Danville (FHL). In 22 games, LaBelle had 17 points (11G, 6A) with 21 penalty minutes.
The RiverKings are "Packing the House" for St. Jude Children's Research Hospital on Belhaven University Pack the House Night on Friday, January 17.
