
RiverKings Set Fan Fest for October 13

SOUTHAVEN, Miss. - The Mississippi RiverKings, the longest continually operating professional sports franchise in the greater Memphis area, have announced today that Fan Fest 2015 will take place on Tuesday, October 13 at the Landers Center.
This year's Fan Fest begins at 6:00 p.m. and is the first opportunity for fans to get a glimpse of the 2015-16 RiverKings. Fan Fest kicks off with a promotional practice open to the general public. After practice, Concorde Career College Ice will be available for a free open skate and all players will be available for autographs in the concourse area behind Section 106.
Season Ticket Holders are invited to an exclusive Q&A session with Head Coach Derek Landmesser, Director of Business Operations David Schmoll and players to be announced at a later date. Fan Fest will also be the first opportunity for Season Ticket Holders to pick up their season tickets in person.
All fans in attendance will be entered in for a chance to win door prizes courtesy of RiverKings partners. All kids in attendance will receive a voucher for a free kids ticket to the team's home exhibition game on Sunday, October 18 at 3:05 p.m. against Knoxville.
Training camp officially gets underway on Wednesday, October 14 and a practice schedule will be announced at a later date.
The Mississippi RiverKings are proud to be the longest, continually operating sports franchise in the Memphis area, as they begin their 24th season in 2015. Ticket packages for the 24th season of RiverKings hockey start at just $24.75 by calling 662-342-1755. The home opener is scheduled for Friday, October 23 at the Landers Center and groups of 15 or more who purchase a group for that night will receive an identical group package to any other regular season game for free.
