SOUTHAVEN, Miss. - The RiverKings announced on Tuesday that they are seeking a Junior Brand Advisor to assist with the team's rebranding effort prior to the 2015-16 SPHL season. Kids ages 5-18 are eligible for the position and can apply by entering the RiverKings Logo Design Contest.

To enter, kids must submit their take on the ultimate Mississippi RiverKings logo. Applicants may use any colors, emblems, mascots or other symbols they feel would best represent the RiverKings on the ice. The winning applicant will receive 2015-16 Season Tickets, a new RiverKings jersey, and have input during the rebranding process.

Entry forms can be found at riverkings.com/logocontest or inside the January 27 Face Off Field Trip workbook. Entries must be submitted by Friday, February 13. Fans who are not school-age children are welcome to submit their ideas, but they are not eligible for selection.

The RiverKings are back home Friday, Jan. 30 against the Pensacola Ice Flyers for Heroes Night presented by Delta Medical Center. The RiverKings honor our local police officers, firefighters, doctors and other real-life heroes during the game. Single-game tickets can be purchased at riverkings.com/ticketmaster and groups of 15 or more get a discount, with group tickets starting at $8 per ticket, by calling the front office at 662-342-1755.
