THE MATCH UP

The RiverKings and the Rayz have almost identical records entering their third meeting of the season tonight. This season is the first in which the teams have played more than twice after playing just once each of the past two seasons. Memphis picked up a 4-3 win at the American Bank Center on November 3 with Corpus evening the season series with a 7-4 victory at the DCC a week later. The Rayz are 1-3-3 in their last seven games. The RiverKings are 3-2-1 in their last six games after falling 6-1 to Bossier-Shreveport on Tuesday. The all-time series between these teams is even at four wins apiece. The RiverKings are 2-3-0 all-time at Corpus Christi. Forward Paul McBrien will be sitting out the second of his two game league suspension tonight. Due to NCAA Basketball coverage on Sports 56 WHBQ, tonight's game will be carried on 96.1 WYYL.
