RiverKings Re-Sign Devin Mantha for 2016-17 Season

SOUTHAVEN, Miss. - The Mississippi RiverKings, the longest continually operating professional sports franchise, celebrating 25 years in the greater Memphis area, and Head Coach and Director of Hockey Operations Derek Landmesser have announced today that they have re-signed forward Devin Mantha. Terms and conditions were not released.

Mantha, 27, enters his third season with the RiverKings after splitting time last year with the Norfolk Admrials of the ECHL. Last season with the RiverKings, in 26 games Mantha had 22 points (8G, 14A), nearly a point per game. In his first two seasons with the RiverKings, Mantha did not miss a game playing in all 56 regular season games each season and accumulated 88 points (37G, 51A) as one of the leading scores both years.

The RiverKings return to the Landers Center on Friday, October 21 to take on the Evansville Thunderbolts at 7:30 p.m. Groups of 10 or more purchasing Opening Night tickets before October 14 will receive free tickets to a future game.
