Mississippi RiverKings News Release
SOUTHAVEN, Miss. - The Mississippi RiverKings announced that Saturday's game against the Pensacola Ice Flyers raised $1,386 for the Gatlinburg, Pigeon Forge, Sevierville Emergency Response Fund at the Community Foundation of Middle Tennessee. Grants from the Fund will be made to nonprofits providing assistance both immediate and long term.
Money is being raised to aid in the recovery and rebuilding efforts in the Gatlinburg, Pigeon Forge and Sevierville areas after massive wildfires in the area have displaced thousands. Those wishing to donate to the recovery efforts can give to the Emergency Response Fund by making a cash donation during Friday's RiverKings game at fan services or online at www.cfmt.org.
