Mississippi RiverKings News Release

SOUTHAVEN, Miss.—The feeling of excitement when Memphis RiverKings forward Kahlil Thomas scored the game winning goal on April 25 to clinch the Kings' second consecutive CHL championship title is etched in the memories of every person who filled the arena that night.

Now fans can have that memory to have and to hold through a special offer that the RiverKings have arranged in commemoration of their back-to-back victories: a fan championship ring.

"The fan ring and the players' rings have some design aspects in common," RiverKings Community Relations Director Michael Rice said. "Both have art which convey the back-to-back championships. The fan ring, while not quite as large as the player ring, is much larger than most rings and highly noticeable. If you are a RiverKings fan and you want the world to know it, this is the purchase for you."

The RiverKings fan rings are constructed from GTS, a highly durable, titanium coated, gold tone metal. Both the player and fan rings were designed and manufactured by MTM Jostens Recognition at the company's Princeton, Ill. jewelry manufacturing facility. Jostens, one of the premier ring manufacturing operations in the country, has produced rings for many prestigious championship events, including NFL and NBA championships.

"We created a custom ring for the RiverKings and their fans to commemorate the back-to-back victories," Jostens Recognition Regional Manager Chris Pilant said. "We were very pleased to produce this beautiful championship ring and enjoyed working with the RiverKings on this exciting project."

The deadline for ordering one of these special rings is Nov. 7, to ensure delivery before Christmas. The man's fan ring is $179 and the woman's is $159.

"We wanted RiverKings fans to have the opportunity to participate as part of the team in this victory," RiverKings president Robin Costa said. "After all, the fans are major part of the games. The players draw energy from the crowd and their involvement. RiverKings fans really came through for their team last year when they needed it most, and we want to give them a similar special opportunity to cherish that amazing feeling."

To order a fan championship ring, please contact Rice at 662-342-1755 or lucky@riverkings.com, or visit the merchandise stand during a RiverKings game. Fans will be fitted for their ring size to ensure a proper fit.

Season, group, and individual game tickets are still available through the RiverKings office. For more information, telephone (662) 342-1755. For more information visit www.riverkings.com.
