RiverKings Fan Fest kicks off in two days

SOUTHAVEN-Yes, ladies and gentlemen, it's that season again - hockey time in the Mid-South. Fans, friends and the curious can get a sneak peek at a special price on Thursday and Friday when the Memphis RiverKings team up against the Wichita Thunder in two exhibition games, plus enjoy family activities galore during the RiverKings' "Fan Fest" on Thursday night.

Those activities include having a look at a state-of-the-art interactive U.S. Army Humvee with computer simulations and games and the Army's Football Toss inflatable. The RiverKings will have their Slapshot inflatable available, plus all the regular in-game activities such as Kid's Club and Chuck-A-Puck. Season ticket holders can pick up their tickets, try out their seats and check out the new RiverKings merchandise.

Fans can purchase tickets on any seating level for a flat rate of $11 at the DeSoto Civic Center Box Office or at any TicketMaster location. Doors will open thirty minutes earlier on Thursday, Oct. 13, beginning at 5:30 p.m. as part of Fan Fest. For more information call 662.342.1755.
