
RiverKings Extend One, Add Veteran to IR

SOUTHAVEN, Miss. -- Mississippi RiverKings Head Coach and Director of Hockey Operations Derek Landmesser moved goaltender Alex Caffi from 14-day to 21-day Injured Reserve and placed assistant captain Todd Hosmer on 14-day Injured Reserve.
Caffi, 26, appeared in two games for the RiverKings this season and has a 1-1-0 record with a 2.50 goals against average and a 91.5 save percentage. The 6-foot, 187-pound netminder is currently in his first professional season in North America after parts of nine seasons in Europe.
Hosmer, 28, played in all six games for the RiverKings this season with one goal and one assist. the 6-foot-1, 210-pound forward began his fifth professional season this year, his fourth with the RiverKings.

The RiverKings return to the Landers Center tomorrow night to begin a two-game home-series against the Fayetteville FireAntz capped with Saturday Night's Teddy Bear Toss and NHL legend Willie O'Ree appearance.
