Ian Keserich made 33 saves for his first pro shutout as the Mississippi RiverKings defeated the Oklahoma City Blazers 1-0 tonight at the Ford Center.

With the win, the RiverKings moved two points ahead of the Rocky Mountain Rage for fifth place in the Northern Conference with two games remaining. The RiverKings reduced their magic number to clinch a playoff berth to two. They also moved to within one point of the Youngstown SteelHounds for fourth place and home-ice advantage in the conference's opening-round best-of-three playoff series.

Louis Dumont scored his 15th goal of the season with 4:44 remaining in the second period to give Keserich all the offense he needed.

Jason Wolfe made 24 saves for the Blazers.

The RiverKings host the Corpus Christi Rayz tomorrow and Saturday to finish the regular season. Both games begin at 7:05 p.m. Both broadcasts start at 6:55 p.m. on Y96.1FM.
