SOUTHAVEN, Miss - The RiverKings and Head Coach/Director of Hockey Operations Derek Landmesser announced a trade with Evansville, bringing Don Olivieri to Mississippi in exchange for defenseman Rob Hall.

Both players involved in the trade are returning to teams where they once played, Olivieri having started the 2016-17 season with the RiverKings while Rob Hall capped off the end of 2016-17 with the Thunderbolts and spending most of this year's preseason in Indiana.

Olivieri, 26, comes from Evansville having tallied a goal and two assists in his eight games played. The Philadelphia native began his professional career in 2015-16 playing 14 games with the Berlin River Drivers of the Federal Hockey League before being loaned to the RiverKings where he played in 29 SPHL games notching four goals and eight assists. Olivieri would return to the RiverKings the following season, 2016-17, before being traded to Peoria in exchange for Joe Sova. He would play out 35 games for the Rivermen until he got the call up the Missouri Mavericks of the ECHL. Olivieri comes to Southaven with 78 total games played in the SPHL, 19 goals and 21 assists.

On the other side of the trade, the Thunderbolts will receive defenseman Rob Hall. The 5-foot-10, 174 pound Hall is still a rookie in the SPHL but is no stranger to Evansville. After finishing out his college career last season, Hall played 11 games for the Thunderbolts registering 3 assists. He competed in Evansville's training camp this year before signing with the RiverKings right before the start of the regular season. In his six games with the RiverKings, Hall has one assist and a fight in his six games with the RiverKings this season.
