RiverKings Announce Roster Moves

SOUTHAVEN, Miss. -- Mississippi RiverKings Head Coach and Director of Hockey Operations Derek Landmesser announced Tuesday that the team has waived forward Cody Keefer and placed defenseman Mike Hayward on the 30-day Injured Reserve.

Keefer, 25, appeared in the RiverKings' first three games this season and recorded two shots on goal in the home opener against Louisiana.

Hayward, 24, posted a +4 rating in the team's first three games before landing on the IR. In the 2012-2013 campaign, the Toronto, Ontario native appeared in 11 regular season games along with three playoff games.

The RiverKings return home on Saturday, November 9 for their second weekend series against the Rivermen.
