Mississippi RiverKings News Release

SOUTHAVEN --- The Memphis RiverKings of the Central Hockey League announced today that the team has signed second year forward Paul McBrien to a contract. McBrien has been with the team for the past two weeks while his immigration paper work was finalized. McBrien will be in uniform and play in tonight's home game with the Fort Worth Brahmas at the DeSoto Civic Center.

McBrien is taking the roster spot left open after the RiverKings placed forward Jeremy Wray on the season-ending IR earlier this week.

McBrien is a 6-foot-1-inch, 195 pound native of Okotoks, Alberta. He played junior hockey with the Lethbridge Hurricanes of the WHL, the Owen Sound Attack of the OHL and the Humboldt Broncos of the SJHL. In his rookie season as a professional in 2004-2005, McBrien played a combined 16 games with Flint and Kansas City of the UHL and finished with one assist and 63 penalty minutes.
