
RiverKings Add Forward Cook

SOUTHAVEN, Miss. - Mississippi RiverKings Head Coach and Director of Hockey Operations Derek Landmesser announced today that the team has signed forward Max Cook to a contract. Terms and conditions were not released.
Cook, 25, enters his second professional season with the RiverKings. The 6-foot-2, 187-pound forward spent the majority of last season with the Columbus Cottonmouths where he put up 12 points (3G, 9A) in 40 games. The Frankfort, Illinois native played four years at Miami University (Ohio) with former RiverKing Bryon Paulazzo and earned a USHL Clark Cup Championship in 2009 with Indiana.
Cook will wear number 16 beginning tonight's game against Louisiana in Lafayette.
The RiverKings return to Concorde Career College Ice at the Landers Center on Friday, January 15 as they look to Pack the House for St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, presented by Belhaven University. All tickets are discounted $5 anywhere in the building and are available at the Landers Center box office or on Ticketmaster.
