Riverhounds Unveil 2015 Summer Camp Series

April 3, 2015 - United Soccer League Championship (USL)
Pittsburgh Riverhounds SC News Release

The Pittsburgh Riverhounds are offering two distinct summer camps in 2015 catering both to high level players with ambitions of reaching the college and professional ranks and those who enjoy participation without the rigors of a pressurized competitive environment.

Our FOURmative Track is designed for young athletes that are new to the game and are looking to maintain a healthy balance of sports in their lives, especially through quality summer activities.

Our Realization Track is an intensified curriculum involving professional level training routines. It will be used to identify the top young players from the region to compete in an invitational camp at Highmark Stadium in August.

Your children can participate in both tracks. It is recommended that less experienced players join the FOURmative Track prior to registering for the Realization Track.

Realization Track - Hounds ID Summer Soccer Series Powered by Nike

The Hounds ID Summer Soccer Series Powered by Nike will test each player's physical, mental and emotional abilities. Participants will learn high-level technical skills that they will be expected to display in practice games against their peers. The track delivers a much more aggressive curriculum to young players that mirrors that of an Academy level structure.

Riverhounds coaches will assess all players over the course of the Hounds ID camps. Top performers will be invited to attend a final four-day training program at Highmark Stadium at no additional cost.

All participants selected for the Highmark Stadium Invitational Camp will receive formal recognition from the Riverhounds, opportunities to participate in future Riverhounds events, direct coaching from The Riverhounds Academy staff and directors and a Nike T-shirt, shorts and socks.
