Pittsburgh Riverhounds SC News Release

Pittsburgh-The Pittsburgh Riverhounds travel west to meet the Dayton Dutch Lions Saturday night at Careflight Field. Both Clubs are looking to build momentum heading in to the second half of the USL PRO season. The game is scheduled for an 8:00 PM kickoff and will be streamed live on USLnation.com.

During the month of May, the Riverhounds recorded two points in five games and are looking to begin a solid run in June. The Riverhounds last win came on April 21st in their home opener against the Dutch Lions. Receiving a goal in each half, the Riverhounds blanked the Dutch Lions 2-0. Rookie Seth C'deBaca tallied his first professional goal in the 17th minute of play while Tino Nunez added an insurance goal in the 81st minute.

The Dutch Lions have struggled thus far in USL PRO fixtures, earning four points in eight games and the Club is still without a win. Despite disappointments in league play, the Dutch Lions have won three straight games in U.S. Open Cup pairings. Advancing to the quarter-finals of the Open Cup to meet Sporting Kansas City on Tuesday, June 26th, the Dutch Lions are playing with emotion and determination that will be carried into this weekend's game.

The Riverhounds are looking to create "numbers-up" situations in the attacking third and apply pressure all over the field. The Dutch Lions are carrying excitement and results from the Open Cup and will be ready from the opening whistle. With two different mindsets heading in to the contest, the side that plays together and within themselves should prevail.
