
Riverfront Set to Hold Annual Metro Tournament

Waterloo, IA - The Waterloo Bucks, members of the Northwoods League, have announced that renovated Riverfront Stadium will host the 2012 Bucks Baseball Cedar Valley Metro High School Tournament on May 21 and 22. The tournament will feature Cedar Falls High School, Waterloo Columbus High School, Waterloo East High School, and Waterloo West High School.
The tournament kicks off at 5:30 P.M. on Monday, May 21 when Cedar Falls faces West. The second game of day one is slated for 7:30 P.M. and will feature Columbus versus East. Tuesday, May 22 starts with the consolation game at 5:30 P.M. and the day wraps up with the Championship game at 7:30 P.M.
BUCKS BASEBALL CEDAR VALLEY METRO TOURNAMENT SCHEDULE
Monday, May 21:
Game 1: Cedar Falls H.S. vs. West H.S. - 5:30 P.M.
Game 2: East H.S. vs. Columbus H.S. - 7:30 P.M.
Tuesday, May 22:
Game 3: Consolation - 5:30 P.M.
Game 4: Championship - 7:30 P.M.
Single-Day tournament admission prices will be $5 while youth (17 & under) will be $4. Ages five and under may enter Riverfront Stadium at no cost. Season Passes distributed by schools will not be honored.
The Bucks will open the 2012 season at home versus the Rochester Honkers on May 30 at 6:35 pm. Season tickets and single-game tickets are currently on sale. Fans are encouraged to stay in touch with the Bucks in the off-season by utilizing their website at www.waterloobucks.com.
