RiverDogs Unveil 1st Annual "Battle of the Bands" Logo

Richmond, VA February 24,2005: The Richmond RiverDogs, in association with Red Rocket Merchandising Corp. and OldGlory.com, unveiled today the official logo for the First Annual Battle of the Bands to take place at the Richmond Coliseum on April 2nd.

"The first press release was only out a couple of hours and we started getting calls from bands wanting to perform and companies asking about sponsorship opportunities," according to Kevin Brooks, Assistant General Manager. "This is shaping up to be a fabulous musical event and combining it with hockey makes it a unique sports experience all in one evening."

Tickets for the April 2nd First Annual Battle of the Bands are available now with special $8 lower level and $6 upper level pricing.
