NORTH AUGUSTA, S.C. -Â The Charleston RiverDogs' Thursday night finale with Augusta was cancelled at SRP Park due to rain. As it was the final meeting between the RiverDogs and GreenJackets in the first-half, the game was cancelled and will not be made up.
Charleston continues their eight-day road trip, next heading to Hickory, N.C. to take on the Crawdads, the Class A affiliate of the Texas Rangers, in a four-game series over the weekend. The RiverDogs will send righty Jio Orozco (0-1, 4.50) to the hill in the opener at L.P. Frans Stadium at 7 p.m. Hickory will throw right-hander and Rangers prospect Noah Brewer (0-0, 0.00) to counter. Friday night's broadcast can be tuned into on WTMA 1250 AM and the RiverDogs TuneIn radio station.
RiverDogs single-game tickets, including options to the Riley Park Club, are now available for the 2018 campaign, the club's 25th season as the RiverDogs and their "175th season in dog years."
