RiverCity Rage announce final tryout February 7

RiverCity Rage News Release
The RiverCity Rage will be holding their second open player tryout on Saturday, February 7th, 2009 at "The Game Arena" located in Glen Carbon, Illinois. "The Game Arena" is located off of Interstate 270, and Highway 157 in Glen Carbon, Illinois (just minutes from Southern Illinois University - Edwardsville).
Registration will start at 8:00 AM, and the tryout will begin promptly at 9:00 AM. This will be a combine style tryout with the following being tested: height, weight, 40 yard dash, 225 lbs. bench press reps, vertical jump, pro agility (right and left), as well as additional position specific drills will be conducted.
The tryout will take place on artificial turf, NO METAL SPIKES OR METAL TIPPED CLEATS will be allowed. All participants must be 18 years or older, no college playing experience is required. Players will recieve a RiverCity Rage training camp t-shirt for participating. Kickers will also be trying out at this time.

The cost for the tryout is $40.00 before January 31st, and $55.00 after that. Payment can be made in cash, check, money order, and credit card. If registering the day of the tryout, cash will only be accepted.
The RiverCity Rage, members of the Indoor Football League, will open their season on March 16th with an exhibition game aganist the Gateway Soul.
