Sioux Falls Storm News Release
The Sioux Falls Storm of the Indoor Football League (IFL) has re-signed one of leagues most explosive offensive players to a contract for the 2009 season. James Terry led the team in receiving touchdowns in 2008 and had a game high against the Sioux City Bandits with 124 receiving yards. Terry was a key player in the Storm's franchise record of averaging 56.9 points per game in 2008.
Terry will be coming back for his fourth season in a Storm uniform. In 2008, he led the Storm in receiving touchdowns with 19, which is the second most in a single season in Storm history. The former Kansas State receiver ranks first in the 2008 season for both receiving yards (796) and receiving touchdowns (21) with the Storm. Terry also led in the 2008 Storm post season with a game high of two touchdown receptions against River City Rage.
Terry was a standout at Kansas State where he totaled 92 receptions for 1,793 yards and 18 touchdowns in just two seasons with the Wildcats. Terry finished his playing career at Kansas State in 2003. Terry spent the 2004 season with the San Diego Chargers and the 2005 season with the Calgary Stampeders of the Canadian Football League.
