Ruff Riders To Hold Final Tryouts

ABILENE, TX. : The Abilene Ruff Riders will be holding their final set of team tryouts on Saturday, February 28, 2009 from McMurry University in Abilene. McMurry University is located at 14th & Sayles Boulevard. Registration will begin at 9:00 a.m. with the tryouts to begin shortly after at 10:00 a.m. All participants will be required to sign a waiver, complete a registration form and pay a $50 registration fee. The fee must be cash or money orders only. Players are expected to wear proper attire for the event, including cleats and/or turf shoes. Players will be tested in several different categories related to the professional indoor football game. Media representatives are welcomed to attend.

"This will be one of the final major steps this organization is taking in preparing for the season. We had a great turn out for the previous tryouts which showcased good local talent. We are expecting the same for this time around. Myself and the Ruff Riders Coaching Staff are excited about the roster we are compiling for training camp." stated Abilene Ruff Riders Head Coach, Gerald Dockery.
